Welcome, artists!
Come learn how to make sculptures and functional ceramics in a fun, calm, outdoor pottery studio environment in West Asheville! This will be an eight week series with up to 12 kiddos in each of the two classes. The younger children's class will be ages 4-7 and another older kid's class will be ages 8-11. Class will go from 4pm-5:30. Please use the code siblings10 for 10% off one sibling or carpool ticket. Children will learn the techniques of slab building, coil and pinch construction and at least two surface decoration techniques.
Please bring to class: a water bottle (well water available on site to refill) and clothes that are appropriate for the weather and can get dirty. We will also provide handwashing sinks and aprons.
